Job Title: Economics / Business Analyst

Location: Abuja (FCT)

• The Economic Analyst has experience in economic analysis, Tableau or a similar tool, and using data to solve problems.
• Candidates apply analytical techniques and use visual analytics tools to assess, cleanse, normalize, and analyze data to present findings in collaboration with clients.
• They have a passion for problem solving, a desire to make an impact and to connect with stakeholders, and a strong interest in supporting a consulting company.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct economic analysis in order to help our clients understand trends and develop priorities to serve their stakeholders
• Use economic analysis, Tableau, and other analytic and visualization software daily
• Join our consulting practice to support projects and company growth initiatives, managing multiple work streams at one time
• Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service and achieving mission results
• Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
• Develop consulting skills and help grow the company outside of your project by participating in new business and strategic initiatives
• Contribute to our company culture, which promotes client-focused teamwork, learning, and helping others to grow and develop

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 3 - 5 years experience working with economic analysis, data modeling, and data visualization
• Strong experience using analytic and visualization software, such as Tableau, to process, analyze, and produce report information from multiple sources
• Ability to assess and understand data sources, then identify and mitigate issues to improve the quality of the data so that it can be used for quantitative and qualitative analytics
• Experience in data visualization and
• Skilled at deriving meaningful and actionable recommendations from analytical work products to improve business processes
• Ability to communicate analysis findings, insights, and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders through clear, innovative visualizations and infographics and concise language
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Strong interest in contributing to the growth mission-focused consulting firm

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Tableau
• Experience with government agencies supporting homeland security
• Experiencesupporting activities in data modeling and development of modern methods and best practices to design and/or implement risk assessment methodologies.
