Job Title: ICT Manager / Computer Studies Teacher

Location: Nnewi, Anambra

Job Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Schools ICT unit and teaching computer studies.

Education / Experience

• Candidate must posses a minimum of B.Sc Degree or HND certificate in Computer Science with at least one year working experience.
• NCE holders with at least 5 years experience teaching in a reputable school will be considered.

Skills:

• Successful candidate must posses excellent classroom management skills, be versed in the use of multimedia to support diversified learning and must be able to teach coding to the pupils.
• The candidate must also posses word processing skills and should be able to use some type of word processing program to complete written tasks in a timely manner.
• In addition, the individual must also posses the following skills, spreadsheets, database, electronic presentation, worldwide web navigation, web site design, e-mail management, digital camera, computer network knowledge, file management and windows explorer, downloading software from the web, installing software onto a computer system, video conferencing, web ICT or blackboard teaching skills, computer-related storage devices ( disks, CDs, USB drives, zip discs, DVD etc), scanner knowledge, photocopying, deep web knowledge, educational copyright knowledge and computer security knowledge.

Other Requirements:

• Candidates must be well-spoken and must have an excellent command of the English Language.
