Position Summary

• 7RiverLabsis seeking the services of a business analyst to support the business operations of the company.
• The Business Analyst will be responsible for the implementation and support of business information systems to support 7RiverLabs Commercial Operations as well as conduct market analyses from various business reports generated, analyzing product lines, business channels, and the overall profitability of the business.
• In addition, the Business Analyst will develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Generate financial, product, market, operational and related reports to support strategic and business planning within the commercial department. This will include creating informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Interpret, evaluate and interrelate business report data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.
• Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved change.
• Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Coordinate with Sales Team to build a financial forecast for the overall 7RL business
• Giving periodic (daily and weekly,as applicable) visibility on results from business initiatives.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
• Generating weekly and monthly reports on key business metrics across channels and product lines.
• Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues.

Requirements
Education & Certifications:

• B.Sc Degree in Finance, Economics or appropriate field of study or equivalent

Experience:

• 3 - 4 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Detail-oriented, analytical and inquisitive
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel or Power BI . Knowledge of VBA is an added advantage
• Ability to analyze large data sets to make strategic decisions
• Working knowledge of Finance concepts, tools and analytical packages.
