We are looking for a Scrum Master to coordinate and coach our software development team. Put simply, you’ll be our go-to person for applying scrum to produce high-quality work.
Scrum Master duties include managing timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies.
Ultimately, you’ll help create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints.
Scrum Master experience and skills. You should have excellent knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques.
You’ll also need the ability to coordinate people and projects (occasionally facilitating changes) with your mind set on deliverables. If you’re a strong communicator, a capable leader and your’re invested in Agile frameworks, we’d like to meet you.
SPACE44 is building Remote Software Development teams for Innovators in the US, Canada and Europe. We are providing teams with short lead times, specially tailored to the tech stack and the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities
Focus on the working methods, tools, and team performance
Be the scrum process authority, ensuring that the values, principles, and practices are enacted and followed
Take full ownership for the development of project management processes and practices of the various Dev Teams
Interact with all stakeholders to deliver projects and initiatives in support of business objectives.
Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers
Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile / Scrum frameworks
Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the different team and each individual team continuously
Supporting and coaching individuals and teams to evolve their personal and team effectiveness and efficiency
Coaching of Product Owner and external stakeholders from our clients side
Conducting training and workshops to deepen Agile Mindset
Facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution
Apply skills situationally as a coach, mentor, trainer, facilitator, moderator, leader
Be the driver for our High Performance Team approach
Qualifications
Be patient, persistent, enthusiastic, assertive, transparent, and situationally aware Additional Information:
Scrum Master Certification – CSM, PMP or additional related certifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master and /or Agile coach
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT full development life cycle
Experience in teaching and training
Agile practitioner mindset with an understanding of common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and iterative development practices
Demonstrated track record of successful ability to manage large and complex consulting engagements
Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with people – an expert influencer
High degree of interpersonal/people skills for coaching individuals and teams, and comfortable with communication to all levels of the organizatio
Relentless positivity and enthusiasm that helps teams ‘catch the spark’ of transformation and imagine new possibilities
