A.) SCHOOL OF BUSINESS STUDIES

1.) Accountancy

Course:

Entry Requirements for ND

• Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include Mathematics and English Language, Economics or Commerce or Government, IRK or CRK.

• National Diploma in Accountancy with Lower Credit and above from any recognised Polytechnic and Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sitting i SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include Mathematics and English Language, Economics or Commerce or Government, IRK or CRK.
• One (1) year industrial Training (I.T) but two (2) year I,T for candidates with Ordinary Pass Grade in National Diploma.

• National Diploma in Public Administration with Lower Credit and above from any recognised Polytechnic and Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sitting in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include Mathematics and English and credit passes in any subject like Economics or Government, History, IRK or CRK and Geography.
• One (1) year industrial Training (I.T) but two (2) year I,T for candidates with Pass Grade in National Diploma.

B.) INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY ICT

1.) Mass Communication

• One (1) year industrial Training (I.T) but two (2) year I,T for candidates with Pass Grade in National Diploma.

2.) Office Technology and Management (O.T.M)

Course: ND Final (O.T.M) 1 year Evening Programme

Entry Requirements for ND Final

• Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include Mathematics and English Language.

Course: CS IV 1 year Evening Programme

Entry Requirements for CS

• Four (4) credit passes at one sitting which must include a pass in English Language.

C.) SCHOOL OF APPLIED SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY

1.) Science Laboratory Technology (SLT)

Course: National Diploma (ND) 3 years Evening Programme

Entry Requirements

• Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include credit passes in the following: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Credit passes in Agricultural Science and geography will be an advantage.

Course: Higher National Diploma (ND) 3 years Evening Programme

i.) Chemistry/Biochemistry Option and Biology/Biochemistry Option:

Entry Requirements

• National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology with Lower credit and above from any recognised Polytechnic and Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sitting in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Credit passes in Agricultural Science and geography will be an advantage.

ii.) Physics/Electronic Option:

Entry Requirements

• Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sitting in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

For all option

• National Diploma in Science Laboratory technology with Lower Credit and above from any recognized Polytechnic.
• One (1) year industrial Training (I.T) but two (2) year I,T for candidates with Pass Grade in National Diploma.

2.) Hospitality Management

Course: National Diploma (ND) 3 years Evening Programme

Entry Requirements

• Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include Biology/Agricultural Science/Health Science, English Language, and any two of the following Mathematics/Statistic, Physics, Chemistry Economics Food and Nutrition, Home Economics and Geography. Credit passes in Mathematics and English Language is compulsory.
• Candidate who have Pre-National Diploma in Science technology Course may be admitted into the programme as long as the candidate have the requirements stated above.

D.) SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

1.) Civil Engineering Technology

Course:

• National Diploma (ND) 3 years Evening Programme
• Higher National Diploma (HND) 3 years Evening Programme

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology with Lower credit and above from any recognised Polytechnic and Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sitting in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and one other Science subject.
• One (1) year industrial Training (I.T) but two (2) year I,T for candidates with Pass Grade in National Diploma.

2.) Mechanical Engineering Technology

Course:

• Higher National Diploma (HND) 3 years Evening Programme

• One (1) year industrial Training (I.T) but two (2) year I,T for candidates with Pass Grade in National Diploma.

3.) Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology

• Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passess at two  sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE or NABTEB, which must include Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and one other Science or Technical subject.

Entry Requirements for HND

• National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology with Lower credit and above from any recognised Polytechnic and Five (5) credit passess at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sitting in SSCE, NECO, GCE, NTC or NABTEB, which must include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and one other Natural Science subject or Technical subject with at least a Pass in English Language.
• One (1) year industrial Training (I.T) but two (2) year I,T for candidates with Pass Grade in National Diploma.

Option available: Power and Machines, Telecommunications/Electronics.

E.) SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENT STUDIES

1.) Estate Management

Course:

• National Diploma (ND) 3 years Evening Programme
• Higher National Diploma (HND) 3 years Evening Programme

Entry Requirements

• Five (5) credit passes at one sitting or six (6) credit passess at two sittings in SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB, which must include Mathematics, English Language, Economics or Geography, any Basic Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science) and any one subject out of the following: Technical Drawing, Art, Wood work, Metal work, Accounting, Basic Surveying etc or any other basic training and remedial measures.

Entry Requirements

• National Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology with Lower credit and above from any recognised Polytechnic and Five (5) credit passess at one sitting or six (6) credit passes at two sitting in SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, which must include Mathematics, English Language, Economics or Geography, any baisc Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Science) and any one subject out of the following : Technical Drawing, Art, Wood work, Metal work, Accounting, Basic Surveying
• One (1) year industrial Training (I.T) but two (2) year I,T for candidates  with Pass Grade in National Diploma.

A non-refundable application fee Twelve thousand, one hundred and fifty Naira (N12,1.50.00) made payable to any of the Banks listed below in Auchi. The Banks will in turn issue a scratch card to each applicant.

Return of Completed Application Form
All applicants are required to complete forms online following the instructions contained in the leaflet accompanying the Application Request Access Card. All completed application forms must be submitted online. Thereafter, follow the links on the portal to print:

• A copy of the Acknowledgement Slip. This will be presented at the Screening venue before an applicant is screened
• Two copies of the application form.

The forms, accompanied with Photocopies of credentials and two (2) recent passport-sized photographs should be enclosed in the institution’s customized envelope already purchased at the point of collection and returned to the Bank where the online Application Request Access Card was purchased, NOT later than the above stated closing date.

Procedure for using Auchi Polytechnic Online Application Admissions Platform
Read and follow the steps below carefully:

• Gently scratch the covered portion of the Admission Request Access Card to uncover the hidden Access Number (Pin Code). This is a 12- digit number under the foil.
• Click here to start application.
• Click on students Portal (Evening)
• Click on Online applications (2014/2015)
• Complete the admission request form displayed. Enter your Access Card Pin Number as requested and Click on submit request.
• Complete the Application Form that is displayed carefully. Ensure that you provide all required information correctly as false information may disqualify your application.
• Fill in the subject and grades you obtained in the specified examination you have taken.
• Fill in your Sponsorship and Referees details as required and save the form.
• If you are sure that all information provided are correct, you can finally click submit to finish the application process
• You will be prompted to upload your passport. Make sure your passport is not larger than 2x2 inches in size.
• If you are sure all information provided are correct, click Submit Application Form.
• Print a copy of the Acknowledgment slip and two copies of the application form.
• Attach photocopies of your credentials and birth certificate to the forms and enclose them in the envelope already purchased. Then submit the envelope at the Bank where you purchased the Application Access card.

Besides, applicants are advised to enclose photocopy of receipt of purchase of scratch card alongside their completed application forms.
