Summit Bible Church is a New Testament bible-based church situated in the heart of Abuja, Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Media Director

Location: Abuja (On-site)
Job type: Full-time

About the Job

• The Media Director is responsible for the overall flow of all the ministry’s broadcasts/productions.
• The Media Director will be required to work seamlessly with different teams during and after production to achieve excellent results.

Key Performance Areas

• Work with video editors and other media personnel to achieve polished and professional broadcasts of all programmes, including weekly services
• Responsible for audio operation and technical direction of all programmes
• Assist with training and supervision of other media team members
• Lead the overall media planning approach by linking media strategy and brand objectives
• Ensure that workflow, productivity, and quality control standards are met by the planning teams
• Communicate with various personnel during live broadcasts/events to ensure accurate technical execution
• Be responsible for clean technical execution of the overall look of all productions
• Work with control room crew to create a live, compelling, error-free production
• Quality control over all broadcast materials
• Learn and work with Master Control
• Train and lead the production team
• Other duties that may be required

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Media production or Media-related field)
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a media program director
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere (or any other animating software) preferred
• Ability to make fast, accurate judgments, and remain calm under pressure is a must.
• Attention to detail is important, along with the ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve
• Ability to operate a broad range of production equipment, including production switchers, audio consoles, camera robotics and video editing is desired
• Must possess excellent writing and oral communication skills
• Possess a deep understanding of social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Tiktok.
