We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IELTS Tutor

Location: Central Business District, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Provide excellent IELTStraining sessions tostudents.
• Prepareteachingplans for the IELTS Programs by employing ateaching currirulum up toIELTS standardto ensure examination success.
• Ensure proper class management and adequate preparations of lesson plan for aneffective teaching delivery.
• Prepare and conduct pre-assessments and in-lecture assessments and exercises.
• At least 2 years of experience in IELTS Teaching is recommended plus a TEFL certificate.
• Basic administration such as keeping student registers and attendance records.
• Provide adequate client satisfaction in terms of training delivery and personalized service.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s laid down procedure for interacting with clients.
• Useown initiative when faced with unconventional clients.
• Listento client’s complaints and suggestions and communicating same to the Lead Trainer.
• Coordinate and oversee mock/preparatory exams to ensure that students are adequately prepared for the main exam.
• Appropriately evaluate students to determine their readiness for the IELTS main exam using predetermined metrics.
• Follow up with students after their exams to enquire abouttheir grades and determine after sales services that may be offered.

Qualifications

• B.Ed / BA in English, Linguistics or any other related field. A TEFL certification will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Two (2) years working experience in a similar IELTS Tutor role.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms is essential to succeed on this role.

• Treats colleagues and customers in a way that demonstrates integrity, equity, honesty and fairness.

Client Focus:

• Always eager to address customer needs in a timely and professional manner.

Information Technology:

• Must be able to comfortably use a computer.
