Job Title: Junior Web Developer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for dynamic Junior Web Developers who will assist with updating existing web applications, coding, testing, and design adjustments.
• They will be taking directions from Senior Developers and assisting with all aspects of website and application design.
• To ensure success, the possession of knowledge in Laravel, website design skills and meticulous attention to detail are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the web development team with all aspects of website and application design.
• Assisting with the testing and maintenance of backend and front-end applications.
• Collaborating with developers to implement new web features.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology and programming trends.
• Writing code using various programming languages (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or PHP) to create new features.
• Monitoring website traffic to identify opportunities for improving usability and increasing conversions

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of working experience as a junior web developer.
• Experience working with coding languages such as HTML, Python JQuery, JSON, and Ajax.
• Solid understanding of web design and development principles.
• A portfolio of web design and projects you've worked on.

Skills & Requirements:

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of software prototyping and UX design tools.
• Goal-orientated and deadline-driven.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and experience working with Laravel, performing unit testing.
• Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of Database design and querying using MySQL.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Experience in creating multi-tenancy software is an added advantage.
