We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Poultry Farm Manager

Location: Ile-Ife, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Raise poultry to produce eggs meat, supervise as well as coordinate activities of workers engaged in raising poultry, collecting eggs and maintaining facilities on the farm.
• Supervise the cleaning and disinfecting of poultry houses, cages, and nests. Ensure vaccines are placed in drinking water, injected into poultry, or dust air with vaccine powder to vaccinate poultry against diseases.
• Confer with farm hands to ascertain production requirements and discuss the status of equipment and supplies.
• Train and Assign workers to duties, like collecting & candling eggs, feeding as well as vaccinating poultry, crating plus shipping fryers and additional cleaning and fumigating chicken houses.
• Direct maintenance as well as repairs of facilities equipment, like chicken houses, automatic feeders, and layer nests.
• Maintain growth, feed, and production records as well as arrange with wholesalers for the sale of poultry eggs and birds.
• Prepare worker attendance, egg production, feed consumption, and poultry mortality reports.
• Formulate feeds and supervise the feed mill operations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the CEO and as required by the farm.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Age: 30 years and above
• Male Candidate Preferably.
