About the Role

• The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for managing a retail store, which includes overseeing sales and inventory.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:

• Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
• Presenting data to directors and other entities.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Computing taxes.
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
• Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
• Supervise main retail store and its other outlets to ensure proper store maintenance.

Qualification

• Education: OND / HND / BSc in Accounting
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in a similar role managing account and supply chain.

Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, Quickbook or related accounting software
• Experienced in managing retail store and outlets
• Ability to initiate and generate new leads across the country
• Strong management and communication skills
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding negotiating skills
• Ability to work in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.

Salary
N80,000 - N85,000 monthly.
