FAAN Online Aptitude Test Important Information

Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN)  - This is to notify candidates that notification for the Online Aptitude Test for the FAAN Recruitment exercise has commenced.  All candidates will be notified by text to the phone numbers and email addresses provided during the application  process.  Notifications are in batches and according to the job applied for.  Notifications will be completed by the close of business day on Thursday  February 26, 2015.  All successful candidates shortlisted for the Online Aptitude Test will be sent a Unique Login and Password with Test Date and Time.

Meanwhile, the Online Aptitude Test starts by 8am on Wednesday, 25th February and ends on Friday, 27th February, 2015. The test is being administered in batches, So if you have not gotten your notification yet, do not panic, may be your batch is not for today. But, try check your sms messages and email inbox including your spam folder.

ABOUT FAAN ONLINE APTITUDE TEST

This FAAN Online Aptitude Test is designed to assess your logical reasoning or thinking performance. The test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and is administered under a restricted web-based exam conditions. The test is strictly timed for 30 minutes after which you must submit your answer sheet. Your results are immediately made available once you submit your test. A pass mark of 50% has been established for this test.

The test is being administered in batches. The batch that you are assigned to is a function of the job that you applied for, its grade level and the total number of people shortlisted for that job. The maximum number of candidates in a batch is 2,000. Each candidate has been assigned a UNIQUE ID by the computer. This ID is part of your login and password.

Access to the Exam Portal (this is the online “exam hall”) is enabled through our pre-issued login-name and password.  You need this Login Name and Password to login and take the test.

• Total Number of Questions to Answer: 50
• Time allowed for the 50 questions: 30 Minutes
• Expected Pass mark: 50%

Types of Questions
The 50 questions cover a combination of:

1. Verbal Reasoning: Includes, grammar, ability to understand analogies, and follow detailed written instructions.
2. Numerical Reasoning: Includes basic arithmetic, number sequences and simple mathematics.
3. Current Affairs: Covers Nigerian and general world knowledge.

DIRECTIONS FOR THE TEST

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BEGIN.

1. The Aptitude Test consists of 50 questions to be answered in 30 minutes.  You will be logged out after the expiration of 30 minutes.
2. All questions are multiple choice (objective) questions.
3. Questions will be presented to you one at a time.
4. You are to select the answer you think is correct by "clicking" on your choice.
5. After "clicking"  on  the answer you have selected, click "NEXT" to move onto the next question.
6. Click on "MARK FOR REVIEW" if you wish to review your answer to a question that you are unsure of.
7. DO NOT CLICK ON "REVIEW QUESTIONS" UNTIL YOU ARE FINISHED WITH ALL 50 QUESTIONS OTHERWISE THE SYSTEM WILL NOT LET YOU CONTINUE YOUR TEST AND YOU MUST THEN SUBMIT YOUR ANSWERS
8. You can also click "PREV"  to go back to previous questions.
9. One you have completed all 50 questions, click "REVIEW" to look at all your answers.
10. Click "SUBMIT" to submit your answers.
11. Once you submit your answers, your result will be displayed on the screen immediately.

2. Click on Log-In
3. Enter the USER NAME that was sent to you by  Text message and by Email
4. Enter the PASSWORD that was sent to you by  Text message and by Email
5. Click Log In. 
6. Click on "TAKE- APTITUDE_TEST" on the Menu Bar
7. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BEGIN
8. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONCE YOU CLICK ON "TAKE_APTITUDE_TEST",  you are timed for 30 minutes. 
9. PLEASE NOTE THAT THOUGH YOU ARE ALLOWED ON THE WEBSITE FOR 60 MINUTES, YOU HAVE ONLY 30 MINUTES TO TAKE THE TEST.  BE READY TO TAKE THE TEST BEFORE YOU CLICK ON "TAKE_APTITUDE_TEST"

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LOGIN INTO THE TEST PORTAL until the date and time that you are scheduled for the test.

The FAAN website is experiencing heavy traffic more than the server hosting the website can carry, I believe they will re-schedule the test and probably increase their server capacity.

We have informed them via phone about many candidates not accessing their website and they said they are aware. So, lets wait and see what they are going to do about it
