Job Title: Registrar

Location: Calabar, Cross River

Duties

• The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and is responsible to the Vice Chancellor for the day-to-day administrative work of the University.
• The Registrar is also Secretary to Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation.

Job Qualifications

• The candidate for the Post of Registrar must possess a good honours degree from a recognized University and must possess the requisite administrative and managerial experience at top Management preferably in higher educational institutions where he/she must have served at the level of Deputy Registrar for not less than five (5) years.

Other Requirements
The candidate must have drive with a strong passion for delivering results.
He/she should also:

• Have strong leadership and communication skills
• Be creative, proactive and self motivated
• Have excellent interpersonal skills
• Have integrity and commitment
• Must be computer literate and
• Must not be more than 60 years at the time of application

Tenure
The appointment is for a single term of five (5) years only.

Salary and Conditions of Service
The salary and conditions of service are as applicable to the post of Registrar in Nigerian Universities and as determined by Government from time to time.
