RS Hunter Limited is seeking a suitably qualified candidate for the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities will be:

To ensure availability of current market information for accurate analysis of company’s proposed projects.
Direct responsibility for providing current and accurate information for decision making.
To recommend relevant and viable construction projects to the company and develop accurate details on present market conditions.
To ensure the project qualification process including feasibility and financial assessments is carried out.
To approve the required and relevant feasibility and viability appraisals for proposed growth plans.
Implementation of business development strategies and plans.
Recommends to management for approval, viable projects after due diligence, feasibility and financial analysis have been completed.
Manage the daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning of the business development processes as appropriate.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the Managing Director.

Skills and Specifications

Broad understanding of the real estate industry, especially in Nigeria;
Extensive negotiating skills;
High capacity for strategic thought and the ability to solve unstructured business problems;
An ability to manage multiple deals at once an eye towards cost, business opportunity and strategic value;
Exceptional communication skills and ability to formulate and opinions around complex business problems;
Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills;
Advanced knowledge of contract, MOUS and other relevant instrument in the real estate development sector;
Excellent attention to detail;
Tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to adapt to a quickly changing business environment especially in the real estate industry;
Leadership to transform strategy into successful execution and a passion; and
A strong team player that values the importance of the success of the overall group;

Education and Qualifications:

Good first degree in any discipline. MBA or masters degree is compulsory
Minimum of 10 years cognate experience
