RS Hunter Limited is recruiting to fill the vacant position of:

Job Title: HVAC Engineer
Location: Lagos

Business Objectives:

HVAC engineer is to oversee the designing, installation and commissioning of ventilation systems and air conditioning (majorly central) equipment.
He/She is also required to provide technical support in the area of carrying out the testing for load and energy consumption, perform mechanical calculations etc.

Responsibilities/Duties

Review / Design of all HVAC systems thereby understanding the operation sequence, designs and coordination of drawing
Implement design and construction of assigned projects according to laid-down specifications or standards
Onsite quality control of piping and system Integrator HVAC equipment’s
Provide mechanical inspection, troubleshooting and evaluation services develop
Review cooling systems, utility distribution plans and specifications prepared by design engineers and other contractors
Effectively manage capital projects utilizing skill sets including target achievement, team leadership also including scheduling and resource planning.
Manage and maintain client relationships and communicate with clients to explain proposals, present research findings, establish specifications or discuss project status.
Develop and providing analytical and problem solving support, employing engineering skills, in support of business and quality improvement processes.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals
Maintain an awareness of trends, knowledge of the market and may also conduct research/market intelligence in field of expertise.
Motivate and train staff as the need arises thereby contributing overseeing the development and maintenance of staff competence.
Confer with engineers, regulators, contractors, vendors and others, to plan and review projects, and to provide technical assistance.
Review project activities, perform site visits, coordinate contractors and prepare operational reports.
Promote safety standards on and off site locations
Adhoc tasks as assign

Requirements:
Candidate Must Have:

B.Sc. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Post-graduate qualification in project management or mechanical engineering would be advantageous.
Minimum of 5years experience.
Must have knowledge in VRV air conditioning system (Operation /Assembly)

Other requirements include;

Cognitive/relevant experience in project management is necessary
Hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical equipment design.
Excellent Team/interpersonal skills with strong leadership skills
Excellent Communication (written & verbal) & Presentation skills.
Strong Organizational skills
Analytical in thinking/Result oriented
Can work with minimal/no supervision
Motivated/Confident
