Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Part-Time admission into the 2012/2013 academic programmes leading to the award of degrees, through our Work and Study Programmes, guided by the following:

A. Some Facts About the Programme

1.) Programme Briefs:

Work and Study Programthe (WASP) is a weekend programme designed to offer opportunities to talented, intelligent and qualified working
adults in various fields of life endeavours to acquire university education without having to give up their jobs.

2.) About NYSC and WASP

Students of WASP DO NOT participate in the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC); rather they are issued with exclusion certificate from NYSC at the end of their programme.

3.) About Entry Requirement:

The WASP requires (5) O/L (SSCE, NECO, GCE, TCII, NABTEB) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language for ALL courses. Credit pass in Mathematics is needed for Science, Social Sciences (except Mass Communication), Management Sciences and Agriculture based courses. All requirements are to be in not more than two (2) sittings, with work experience to count as advantage.

4.) Course Duration E.g.

NB: All direct entry candidates MUST ensure that their academic transcripts are received latest two weeks after close of sale of forms from the recognized institutions,

5.) Programme content:

The programme offers the same content as in the regular. It is the mode of entrance, mode of study and the length of time a candidate spends in the programme before graduation that differs occasioned by the level of qualification upon entrance and regular course duration.
