Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Description

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure that supports software development and deployment.
• The role involves automating processes, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating closely with software engineers, QA, and product teams to achieve seamless integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment and continuous integration.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of systems using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, security, and reliability to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management processes.
• Support and enhance security best practices including IAM, network security, and data protection.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration processes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage.)
• 5–7 years hands-on experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering.
• Proven experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Good understanding of networking, load balancing, and system security.
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development practices.
