Job Title: General Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Reports to: Managing Director

Job Summary

• The General Manager will oversee the overall operations, business development, and marketing activities of the Bureau De Change (BDC).
• The ideal candidate must have solid experience in foreign exchange transactions, marketing strategy, and business management, ensuring profitability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily BDC operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive client acquisition and retention.
• Manage foreign exchange transactions in line with regulatory standards and company policy.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of operations, accounts, and marketing teams.
• Monitor cash flow, revenue performance, and expense control to ensure business profitability.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, financial institutions, and regulators.
• Ensure full compliance with CBN and AML/CFT regulations.
• Prepare and present periodic performance and financial reports to management.
• Lead and mentor staff to achieve organizational goals and maintain high performance standards.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for operational and service efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
• Minimum of 4 – 5 years of experience in Bureau De Change operations and marketing.
• Strong knowledge of CBN regulations, FX market trends, and compliance procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage teams and deliver business results.
