We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HR Officer to join our Human Resources team. This role is designed for early-career professionals looking to build a career in HR.
You will provide support across various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration while learning directly from senior HR professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Support in the preparation of employment letters, contracts, and other HR documentation.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and other staff development activities.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department (filing, scheduling, correspondence).
Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects as assigned.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor laws under guidance from senior staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
2–3 years of HR experience
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of HR principles and labor regulations is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HRIS is a plus.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field.
Salary
N100,000 per month.
