Pecroyal Educonsult was established in April, 2016 to work with school owners to ensure that their schools are run in line with International Best Practices thereby meeting up with Internal Standards. We help manage school’s finances, ensure increased cash in-flow and reduce operational cost. In addition to these, we help build committed and dedicated work force that will work as a team to achieve the school’s vision.

Job Title: Preschool Teacher

Job Description

• We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our client’s team.
• As an integral part of our early childhood education program, you will have the opportunity to shape young minds and inspire a love for learning in a nurturing and creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to preschool-aged children, focusing on early childhood development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive social and emotional growth.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to support children’s academic, social, and physical development.
• Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
• Implement classroom routines, including nap time, meals, and structured play.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience and contribute to a team-based approach.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of early childhood education practices and child development trends.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, challenges, and successes.

Requirements
Education & Qualifications:

• Minimum of a NCE, B.Ed or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching preschool-aged children is an advantage.

Proximity Requirement:

• Candidates must reside in Surulere and environ. Proximity to the school is vital to ensure timely attendance and involvement in school activities.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of early childhood development and preschool education.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of young children.
• Ability to create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic knowledge of classroom management techniques and child safety practices.
