Phillips Outsourcing Limited has been in existence for over 16 years. We have a vast experience in the outsourcing business as we currently manage resources for major clients in all sectors of the Nigerian economy. In addition, our prolific manpower cuts across the 36 states in Nigeria. After successfully gaining ground in all the 36 states of the federation, we are gradually spreading our tentacles to other African Nations. We are currently registered to also do business in Ghana. Our framework is developed to fully support the businesses of our clients, ensuring continuous improvement of the outsourced services. This ultimately thrusts our clients to achieve their business objectives.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Product Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract (9 months), with opportunity for permanent role

Responsibilities

• Own product roadmaps across platforms and products.
• Balance editorial, commercial, and technical needs without losing focus.
• Work with engineering and marketing to ensure metrics are tracked and interpreted correctly.
• Build dashboards and reporting structures that leadership can actually use.
• Conduct user research with readers, subscribers, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering to deliver intuitive, high-qualityexperiences.
• Work closely with editorial, growth, commercial, and technology teams to align
• product execution with organizational priorities.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product reviews.
• Act as the primary point of coordination between business needs and technical delivery.
• Translate strategy into clear requirements and milestones.
• Support engineering with well-defined briefs and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure timely delivery of product features and improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, monetization, and operational efficiency.
• Manage technical debt and continuously improve internal tooling where needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Product Management certification (e.g. Pragmatic Institute, Product School,
• 4 - 7 years experience in product management, preferably in media, technology, or
• digital platforms.
• A product portfolio demonstrating prior work, which may include:
• Product roadmaps, PRDs, or user stories
• Case studies showing problem definition, discovery, execution, and outcomes
• Screenshots, prototypes, or links to live products
• Strong understanding of agile development processes and product discovery
• frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments.
• Proficient at managing and resolving ambiguity.

Salary
N700,000 - N900,000 per month.
