We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Deputy Manager - Electrical

Location: Gboko, Benue

Job Summary

• To follow top management instruction and plan / Execute the jobs accordingly. In additional to that Ensure the Air conditioner Effective operation and its Maintenance.
• Plant is Equipped with more than 400 numbers of Air conditioner under critical Equipment / Office rooms / Estates location. 
• Following proper preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and spares maintenance to make sure all the Air conditioners are performing well.

 Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Equipment list to be prepared for the allotted sections. (Air condition Preventive Maintenance for Plant critical and Non-critical, three Estates installed A/C’s units.
• 52Weeks Preventive maintenance planner to be prepared.
• Condition monitoring plan to roll out.
• All critical major equipment’s ensure special care in place.
• Solving day to day Problems in plant operation.
• Spares planning and procurement in the given section to be well taken care.
• All improvement jobs to be listed out and on criticality basis execution to be planned and implementation to be ensured on estimated time frame.
• Energy Audit to be planned on regular intervals and gaps to be identified and correction to be taken accordingly.
• Prepare SOP / OPL / GTF / DO’s and Don’ts / KYE / Visual Markings on the designated areas.
• Time to time awareness classes on safety, operation and maintenance to be organized for their section colleagues.
• On job training to be planned for all critical jobs and to be executed on regular basis.
• Bottleneck in their particular section to be identified and elevated to their top management on timely basis.
• AC fan Motor overhauling history to be recorded and maintain for future reference purposes.
• Ensure compliance of all electrical equipment in accordance with DCP/local safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head, Electrical Maintenance.
• Oversee technical staffs in the performance of their duties and provide expertise as required.
• Enforce accident prevention and occupational health work procedures and regulations.
• Proffer solutions to solve electrical problems to ensure optimization of equipment reliability.
• Ensure safekeeping of materials, tools, and equipment.

Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree / HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of post-qualification experience; seven (7) of which must have been spent doing related work

Skills and Competencies:

• Good knowledge of Air conditioning system especially on 10 Ton Package and Spilt AC units. 5 Ton / 3 Ton / 2 Ton Split AC units and 1.5 Ton Window AC’s units working in cement manufacturing processes and dusty Environments.
• Expert knowledge of maintenance management methods, of predictive inspection tools and SAP.
• Extensive knowledge electrical Utilities engineering.
• Good knowledge of safety legislation and rules
• Good knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and TPM
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Organizational Awareness.

• WHY WHY Analytical / RCA technique skill.
