We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Still / Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other video editors, designers, reporters and other team members to create cohesive visual narratives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality output.
• 3D animation is a great advantage.
• Create still graphics.
• Create motion graphics for stations and our programs
• Create visually stunning still & motion graphics
• Create stings, montages and animations for various programs
• Create illustrations, designs and other artwork used in marketing materials
• Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualise and execute motion and still graphic projects that effectively communicate the brand message and objectives.
• Develop storyboards, sketches, and visual concepts to illustrate design ideas and present them for approval.
• Edit documentaries, News reports and other video contents
• Stay up to date on industry trends and techniques, bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the team.
• Utilise a variety of software tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and other relevant tools to create high-quality motion graphics.
• Maintain consistency and quality across all visual assets, ensuring they adhere to brand guidelines.
• Optimise motion/still graphics across platforms and formats to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance projects.

Person Specification

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Motion Graphics and Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field.
• Proven experience in creating compelling motion graphics, still graphics and animations, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain brand consistency while exploring creative solutions.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with video production processes and techniques
• Knowledge of 3D animation and software (e.g., Cinema 4D) is a bonus but not mandatory.
• A passion for staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations.
