Job Title: Inventory Manager

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We are a fast-growing eCommerce brand looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Manager to join our operations team.
• This role is critical to ensuring our products are available, accurately tracked, and efficiently managed across our office and all delivery agent networks throughout Nigeria.
• The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed are equally important.

Key Responsibilities
Stock Management & Control:

• Conduct physical stock counts in the office and reconcile inventory records with different delivery agents across Nigeria.
• Record daily deliveries and shipments to maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Ensure all stock transfers are properly counted, documented, and logged in the inventory system.
• Oversee and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability at all times.
• Ensures proper storage, handling, and organization of all inventory items in the warehouse/office.

Inventory Tracking & Reconciliation:

• Track stock movement, usage, and replenishment across all departments, outlets, and delivery channels.
• Implement inventory control systems to minimize waste, loss, and stock discrepancies.
• Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and reconciliations across all locations and agents.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances, shortages, or overstock issues promptly.

Supply Chain & Procurement Coordination:

• Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.
• Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers to ensure timely restocking and avoid stockouts.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and plan future stock needs effectively.

Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare detailed inventory reports and provide regular updates to upper management on stock levels, issues, and trends.
• Report to upper management on any discrepancies, risks, or urgent inventory concerns.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and inventory management standards.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1yearof experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
• Prior experience in an eCommerce, logistics, or retail environment is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience working with delivery agents or last-mile logistics partners is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., Zoho Inventory, TradeGecko, Odoo, or similar).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for stock tracking and reporting.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate clear inventory reports.
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) is an added advantage.

Core Competencies & Soft Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — for coordinating with agents and reporting to management.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and reliability when handling stock and sensitive inventory data.
• Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel within Nigeria to visit delivery agents and field locations as required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

 Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
