We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Internal Control Officer

Location: Ago Palace Way, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos.
• The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for the daily verification of accounting tasks, financial records, financial statements, and conducting comprehensive inventory audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Internal Control (HIC) in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual remote and physical audits of all branches and warehouses.
• Support the HIC in continuous physical verification, condition assessment, control, and reporting of fixed assets.
• Assist the HIC in physical verification, authentication, validation, security, custodianship, and reporting of all business documents.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisory personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
• Experience with financial statements and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Background in finance and accounting.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must reside within / around Ago Palace Way / Okota / Isolo axis for easy commute.

Salary
N130,000 - N150,000 monthly.
