Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Batching Operator to join our production team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, and preparing raw materials according to approved formulations to support efficient production and consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and batch raw materials according to approved formulations and BOM
• Prepare ingredients and materials for blending and production processes
• Verify material identity, quantity, and condition before use
• Ensure proper labeling and handling of batched materials
• Maintain batching accuracy to ensure product consistency and quality
• Prevent cross-contamination during batching activities
• Report discrepancies, shortages, and quality concerns promptly
• Operate weighing scales and batching equipment effectively
• Report equipment faults or operational issues to supervisors
• Comply with GMP, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
• Ensure proper use of PPE during operations
• Collaborate with production, QA, and engineering teams
• Assist with stock monitoring and material reconciliation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum of OND or Technical Certification
• At least 2 years’ experience in batching or manufacturing operations
• Experience in food or seasoning production is an added advantage
• Good understanding of weighing and measurement systems
• Ability to read and interpret batch sheets and Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Knowledge of GMP, food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standardsRequired Competencies
• Knowledge of raw materials used in seasoning production
• Understanding of materials handling and storage requirements
• Ability to identify and prevent cross-contamination between flavors and allergens
• Understanding of material reconciliation processes
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good housekeeping and workplace organization practices.
