Power Systems Sales Executive (Marine) at Mantrac Nigeria Limited

Mantrac is the sole distributor for Caterpillar products in Nigeria, distributing and supporting machinery, power systems and material-handling equipment. The company provides customers with comprehensive solutions, backed by technical know-how, experience and in-depth knowledge of their local markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Power Systems Sales Executive (Marine)

Location: Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the formulation / implementation of policies / programmes for the development / promotion of Power Systems Projects.
  • Anticipating, bidding, forecasting and monitoring power systems projects, Pan Nigeria.

Main Functions

  • Sourcing and negotiation of high value power systems turnkey projects.
  • Technical Interpretation of tenders and specifications.
  • Production of power systems design and installation drawings.
  • Monitoring of projects to ensure compliance with Caterpillar standards.
  • Liaise with Power Systems Sales Manager to agree specifications of stock gensets.
  • Liaise with Service and Product Support Departments for Product Support of Power Systems Installation.
  • Liaise with Unatrac Power Systems on technical issues.
  • Make designs drawings and specifications for switchgear builders.
  • Ensure quality compliance of third party sourced components and switchgear.
  • Train Power Systems Engineers to reflect MNL Power Systems as a center of excellence for power generation.
  • Develop technical knowledge of the 3600 series genset in the Sales Engineers as a means of boosting sales.
  • Training / Development of Power Systems Sales and Management team to enhance the ability to rise up to competitive and customers’ expectations.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc / B.Eng or HND qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (plus training in Marketing and Sales Management) with at least five (5) years relevant experience.
