Job Title: Head of Business Developmen(Female)

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Female Head of Business Development to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and lead business expansion initiatives.
  • This role offers the opportunity to work directly with executive leadership and play a key role in shaping the organization's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development and revenue growth strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors.
  • Lead market expansion initiatives and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors, clients, government agencies, and key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and close high-value commercial deals and partnerships.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, proposals, bids, and contract negotiations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the business development team.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and drive accountability.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare business performance reports and strategic recommendations for management.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 7–10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Corporate Strategy, or Commercial Management.
  • At least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and closing major business deals.
  • Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Investment & Finance, Consulting, Energy, or Infrastructure Development is highly desirable.
