We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Welder

Location: Ode Remo, Ogun

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our automobile manufacturing team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components used in vehicle production, ensuring that all work meets quality, safety, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations on automobile parts, components, and assemblies using approved welding techniques.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Inspect materials and welded joints to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Repair defective welds and perform rework when required.
• Ensure all welding activities comply with company quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and engineering teams to meet manufacturing targets.
• Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of welding equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or production issues to supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of OND, Trade Test Certificate, Technical College Certificate, or equivalent vocational qualification in Welding and Fabrication or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of welding experience, preferably in automobile manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial production.
• Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Arc Welding, or Spot Welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
