Job Title: Director, Transformative Energy Partnership

Job Description
  • The Director will build and lead the Energy Partnerships Office. S/he will build, strengthen and maintain the Transformative Partnership on Energy for Africa by engaging and aligning DFIs, Regional and Non-Regional Member Countries, and the private sector.
  • S/he will crowd-in funding to accelerate large-scale projects promoting regional integration and will strengthen the capacity of regional organizations.
  • S/he will deliver on two flagship (FS) programs of the New Deal on Energy for Africa: FS12 – Transformative Partnership on Energy for Africa; and FS10 - Regional and Sub-Regional Project Acceleration Program.
Requirements
  • This role reports to the Vice President, Power, Energy, and Green Growth.
  • The role requires a minimum of 10 years of proven leadership and thought leadership in a relevant sector; a master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field of study is also required.
