Admission into the School of Psychiatric Nursing, Uselu - Benin City for the Year 2013/2014 Sessions
Applications are invited for suitably qualified candidates for admission into the POST BASIC COURSE in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing: for the year 2013/2014. The course leads to the award of Registered Psychiatric Nurse Certificate (RPN)
Entry Requirements
Application must possess one of the following educational qualifications:
- WASC/GCE O/L with five (5) credits in not more than two sittings
- Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or National Examination Council. Certificates (NECO) with (5) credits in not more than two sittings
- The Credit passes must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
In addition, prospective Candidate must possess RN certificate of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and have at least one year post qualification experience with a current Practicing License. Other Nursing Qualification will be an added advantage,
Duration
The duration of the course is eighteen (18) months.

- Photostat copies of credentials
- Two (2) recent Passport Photographs
- Two (2) self stamped- addressed-envelopes and
- Non-refundable application fee of six thousand Naira (N 6,000. 00) only in Bank Draft made payable to the: The Medical Director, Psychiatric Hospital, P.M.B. 1108, Uselu, Benin City.
