- Develop and Implement winning ideas and pro-active solutions
- Develop and Implement SOP’s and Plans in line with Key Success Factors
- Develop and Implement Annual Budgets and Targets in line with Company Direction
- Develop and Implement programs that drives cost down and value up
- Recruit and Dismiss Direct Staff in line with Policies and Procedures
- Daily Management Control of Operations
- Consistent achievement of Company Standards for Product Quality
- Effective and Efficient utilization of Production Assets
- Cost Management: OPEX and CAPEX, in line with budget
- Planning and Delivery of Production Plan in line with Market Demand
- Consistent achievement of Company Standards for all defined KPI areas
- Management of results through Extra ordinary People and Process Performance management
- Superior Communication management and timeous information sharing with all In/External stakeholders
- Key Account management of Supplier group for optimum pro-active operational results
- Development and Implementation of Annual plans and desired results in line with current market factors
- Planning and Delivery of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Activity plans through plant management team
- Actively developing and leading Productivity improvement programs for the plant and stakeholders
- Ownership and ongoing management of a current BCP for operations in Nigeria
Expectations
- Minimum university degree
- Broad experience of manufacturing operational management, preferably within FMCG environment
- Within this, experience or a relevant qualification in Engineering or Technical role is essential
- Working knowledge/ background in continuous improvement in a large organisation essential
- Working knowledge / background of both Manufacturing and Packaging Operations within the supply chain (end to end)
- Good understanding of regulatory constraints
- Able to grasp operational issues quickly and take preventative or corrective decisions as required
- Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to communicate and listen well at all levels
- Personable and confident
- An entrepreneurial attitude - sense of ownership and hands-on
- Intelligent and ingenious problem solver
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluency in written and oral business English is required
