Job Title: Marketing Executive
Location: Lagos
Department: Sales
Reporting to: General Manager
Objective of this Position
- The Marketing Executive is responsible for increasing the hotel’s revenue by selling the hotel’s amenities and services and increasing its clientele through proper implementation of marketing strategies.
Skills / Qualifications
- HND/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Public relations, Hospitality Management or in any other related field
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years Marketing Management experience
- Relevant trainings or Certifications in related field of Marketing
- Proven track record of previous sales success
- A strong understanding of overall hotel business, its facilities and policies
- Good understanding of mass markets with Property Management Systems (PMS) to drive a growing business
- Must have the ability to understand global markets that affect the business of the hotel
- Must have strong decision making skills
- Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and manipulative abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take initiative
- Computer skills (word, excel and PowerPoint), etc.
- Customer service oriented and has passion for the hospitality industry
