Executive Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Postgraduate Programme for 2012/2013 Academic Session

The two-year (Four Semesters) Executive MBA is purely a professional programme primarily concerned with the ever increasingly complex professional needs of practicing managers. The Executive MBA is especially designed to meet the needs of managers who have had considerable experiences in the field but are unable to leave their work to engage in full time study.
The overall objectives of the programme are:
  • to provide the middle and senior executive an opportunity to acquire postgraduate education in business management and administration,
  • develop the potential and increase the proficiency of participants on modem management techniques.
  • develop high level manpower in both the public and private sectors of the economy and in all sectors of business management and administration, including financial management, production, marketing and human resources management.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for Admission into the Executive MBA Programme (two years) 2012/2013.

Admission Requirements
  • A graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University or any other recognized University.
  • Minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience
  • Pass the MBA Admission Test (MBAAT)

Admission Test (MBAAT)
The MBA Admission test will be conducted on SATURDAY, 28th April, 2013.

OAU First Degree Matriculation Requirements
In addition to the admission requirements as published, ALL candidates should please note that in accordance with the University’s regulations, they must satisfy the O'levels First Degree matriculation requirements of the Obafemi Awolowo University i.e. Five O' level Credit passes at not more than sittings including English Language for all disciplines and Mathematics for all Science-based disciplines, Economics, Management and Accounting, Demography and Social Statistics and Environmental Design and Management inclusive

Closing Date
Duly completed Application Forms must be submitted online on or before 31st March, 2013.

Method of Application
Purchase of Application forms shall be through Online Only.
Candidates can conveniently complete the application forms and pay online by following the steps:
  1. Log on to our admission website http://oaupgcollege.netque.com.ng
  2. Create an online account. E-mail will be sent with additional details including a system-generated password.
  3. With the e-mail and password combination, applicants should sign in and accurately fill the pages of the application form.
  4. Application processing fee can be paid using either ATM/Nigerian Debit Cards or the OAU Postgraduate Online application Scratch Cards (Details will be sent via e-mail).

Additional Information
  • ATM Cards for all banks on the Interswitch network are supported
  • Application processing fee for the programmes costs NlO,000.OO (Ten thousand Naira only)
  • The progress of completed application forms can be monitored online and notification will be sent to applicants once decisions are made on the applications
  • Applicants will be notified of the status of their applications by e-mail
  • Admission letters will be sent by e-mail

NOTE: The original transcript obtained from the applicant’s University, NYSC Discharged Certificate, B.Sc. and O' Level Certificates plus duly completed downloaded Obafemi Awolowo Postgraduate Transcript label must be submitted and properly addressed to Postgraduate College and a set of the above document to:
The Head, Department of Management and Accounting.

Any applicant whose original transcript does not reach us before the admission exercise commences "will nor be admitted". Applicants should include their e-mail addresses on the Application Forms.
