Job Title: Registrar

Duties
- The Registrar, a Principal Officer is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day administrative work of the University except for other matters for which the Bursar is responsible.
- The Registrar is the Secretary to the Council, Senate, Convocation and Congregation of the University.
Qualifications and Experience
- The candidate should hold at least, a good Honors' degree with at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification administrative and professional experience in a University or comparable Institution.
- He/she must possess adequate leadership qualities and managerial ability as well as a high degree of competence, integrity, transparency and strong moral character.
- The candidate must not be at a level less than the equivalent of a Deputy Registrar with a minimum of five (5) years experience and must be ICT compliant.
Age:
- In all cases, the applicants must not be above forty-nine (49) years of age at the time of appointment.
Conditions of Services
Each appointment shall be for a non-renewable single term of five (5) years and an such other terms and conditions as currently applicable to similar positions in the Nigerian University System and as may be determined by the appropriate University Law and Governing Council.
