Nigeria Federal Ministry of Education STVEP Project is hiring for Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist.

The Skills Training and Vocational Education Project (STVEP) is an African Development Bank assisted intervention project within the Education Sector of Nigeria. The Project requires the services of suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Term:
2 Years

Required Qualifications
• A Masters Degree in Education, Measurement and Evaluation Statistics, Social Sciences or any related field;
• At least 5 (five) years working experience in the (laid of monitoring and evaluation particularly of education projects and in the development of indicators and data analysis
• Familiarity with the latest techniques and approaches in education evaluation and monitoring, EMIS, quality control and accountability:
• Experience in the training of education evaluators;
• Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications and statistical packages such as SPSS, Epi Info, etc.;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A Ph.D degree in any of the disciplines above will be an advantage.

Duties
• He/She shall monitor project performance and progress;
• Evaluate project success from time to time and report on it:
• Measure and assess project output and impact in terms of enrolment, skills training, efficiency, improvements, increased employment opportunities for women and the youths;
• Identify the qualitative and quantitative indicators and advise accordingly;
• Write quarterly report;
• Ensure that project outcomes are delivered on track and on time in accordance with ADF rules and regulation;
