Nigeria Federal Ministry of Education STVEP Project is hiring for Project Drivers
The Skills Training and Vocational Education Project (STVEP) is an African Development Bank assisted intervention project within the Education Sector of Nigeria. The Project requires the services of suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:
PROJECT DRIVER
Term: 2 Years
Required Qualifications
• The successful applicant must possess a West African School Leaving Certificate with credit in English and at least one other subject
• Possession of higher qualification will be an added advantage
• Possess a valid Driver’s License
• Show evidence of previous driving experience for at least 8 years.
• A previous experience of project oriented driving for at least three years and
• Reasonable knowledge of minor mechanical repairs will be added advantage.
Duties
• Provision of reliable and secure driving services by driving office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel.
• Ensures cost savings through proper use of vehicles through accurate maintenance of daily vehicle logs and preparation and follow through of vehicle maintenance plans
• Ensures proper day to day maintenance of assigned vehicle
• Ensures availability of all required documents pertaining to the assigned vehicle
• Ensures that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accidents.
