Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) was established in 1954 by ports Act ( Cap 155 of the law of the Federation of Nigeria - amended 1999 ) as an operating port with the responsibility of providing all port services. The Authority is a government owned agency charged with the responsibility of Port Administration in the following locations; Lagos, Port Harcourt, Onne, Warri and Calabar.
We wish to recruit suitably qualified candidates who are high performing, innovative and possess the abilities to meet deadlines to fill the position below:
Job Title: Radio Officer II
Locations: Lagos, Rivers (Port Harcourt, Onne), Warri & Calabar
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of Radio/ VTS Equipment
- Ensures optimal functions of communication facilities
- Monitors quality of radio communications
Qualifications
- B.Sc or HND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Information Technology
- Standard for Training Certification and Watch Keeping (STCW’ 95)
- Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS)
- Age between 23 - 35 years.
Remuneration
Salary Scale: SSS4 (GL 08)
