1.) Postgraduate Diploma in Technical Education (PGDTE)
2.) Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
Entry Requirement
Programmes Areas as Follows:
1.) Applications for the Postgraduate Diploma in Technical Education Programmes should normally possess:
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in any Technical subject awarded by any recognized institution
- A Degree in any Technical subject awarded by a recognized University and
2.) Candidates who possess the following qualifications are eligible for admission in PGDE/PGDTE Programme:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
- Higher National Diploma from a recognized Institution and
- Post-qualification teaching experience
- Have a Higher National Diploma or its equivalent in a related field with not less than an Upper Credit.

Method of Application
Candidates who wish to apply should log onto the
University website and make epayments of application fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) by using lnterswitch Verve enabled cards.
Completed application forms should be returned to the Director, Institute of Education. Rivers State University of Science and Technology
