Detailed Job Description
- The role will be responsible for implementing the company’s investment policies as directed by the Investment Committee, managing and maintaining a balanced investment portfolio.
- The Head, Business Research / Investment will project the Company’s cash flow position at regular intervals, track and update corporate actions on fund portfolio.
- The role will also be required to provide periodic market intelligence reports on the performance of key macroeconomic variables, interest rates movement, exchange rates, etc.
Qualifications and Experience
- First Degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance.
- A Master's Degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience.
- Ability to interpret information for the investment community
- Knowledge of corporate finance, economics, ratings, public and media relations
- Must be capable of managing complex cycle of inbound investor requests, forecasting, competitive analysis and compliance
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- A proven track record of successful investments.
