The step was taken in furtherance to the resolve of the present Administration of creating job opportunities, opening up the local communities for economic development which will serve as a catalyst of eradicating redundancy amongst youth dwelling in both cities and rural areas. The Industries to be established are to be managed by citizens of each Local Government area who are to be either University Graduates, holders of National Certificate of Education (NCE) or National Diploma. Successful managers are expected to employ other citizens of the local governments in running the cottage industry.
