Job Title: Manager - CSR
        
Location: Lagos,NG

Job Summary      
 
Develop and implement strategic initiatives in line with the company s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives

Principal Functions        
  • Keep abreast of global and local best practice with regard to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) generally, and the unit s activities specifically
  • Assist in driving the company s sustainability agenda, and build the brand reputation as a responsible and caring organization
  • Assist in continuously reviewing the unit s activities, make recommendations for improvement and implement approved initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team and company s objectives
  • Formulate new initiatives to sustain the company s strategic plan
  • Ensure alignment between the unit s activities and the approved CSR policy; update the policy and process as required
  • Assist in identifying required resources, personnel and funding to achieve the unit s strategy
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate the preparation and compilation of the annual CSR strategic plan and ensure timely implementation
  • Analyze feedback/ any issues arising from CSR initiatives
  • Implement the unit s work programmes and plans in line with agreed procedures and guidelines
  • Plan and manage the human and material resources of the unit to optimize performance, boost morale and enhance productivity
  • Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates  performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives
  • Monitor and control the budgetary needs of the unit
  • Prepare/ compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Director-Brand and Communications
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director-Brand and Communications
Educational Requirements        
  • First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Postgraduate/ professional qualification in a related field will provide a distinct advantage
Experience,Skills & Competencies        
Between six (6) and eight (8) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience, with at least most recent three (3) years in a supervisory or specialist-level role
