Job Title: Cleaner
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities

- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Clean and supply restrooms.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Request for supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Mow or trim lawns or shrubbery, using mowers or hand or power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds.
- Spray insecticides or fumigants to prevent insect or rodent infestation when necessary.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to use basic cleaning equipment
- Ability to work and get things done effectively with little or no supervision
- Ability to speak English
- Ability to deal calmly and effectively with criticism or high stress situations.
- Must be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
- Knowledge of effective cleaning methods and equipment.
- Must be neat and keep things tidy all the time.
