IITA seeks suitable Nigerian for the position below at the Institute’s Headquarters, Ibadan:
Job Title: Senior Research Supervisor

Location: Ibadan
Recruitment Type: (2-year renewable contract)
Responsibilities
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Assist in establishment of maize and legume crops regeneration and characterization;
- Assist in coordinating and supervising students’ field experiments and training activities;
- Assist in conducting field experiments including all aspects of data collection, management and analysis;
- Assist in supervising harvesting and postharvest handling of seeds crops;
- Assist in supervising general field activities;
- Perform any their duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification
- HND/B.Sc in Plant Science, Agronomy, Crop Production, General Agriculture or any other related fields with at least three (3) years’ relevant experience performing similar role.
Competencies
Ideal Candidate must:
- Be computer literate and have good sense of cleanliness and safety precaution.
- Be ready to work in a team and have a good sense of interpersonal relationship.
