Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Management of Assets & Equipment database.
  • Coordinate the repairs in case of serious breakdown.
  • Coordinate and supervise the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance to ensure the full efficiency of the equipment.
  • Manage and supervise the equipment in coordination with project team.
  • Ensure technical support to fulfill project needs in the rental market.
  • Ensure availability of data/info necessary to prepare the technical proposal in support to the commercial activity of the Business Unit.
  • Coordinate with Business Unit in the definition of new design equipment to implement as well as provide support in area of investments. Copied from: www.hotnigerianjobs.com
  • Preparation of budgets and cost monitoring of ordinary /extraordinary maintenance, including estimated costs of repair and Budget of restoration of the equipment after demobilization.
  • Prepare budgets and cost monitoring of investments.
  • Responsible for audit/ inspection and ensure the co-ordination with persons in charge of routine and special maintenance activities.
  • Prepare reports highlighting needs for investments/ disinvestments, managing the proposals for alienation in line with directives received.
Skills, Competence and Experience
  • Knowledge of Asset budget management.
  • Assets and equipment maintenance techniques.
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
  • Equipment Planning/Scheduling utilization.
  • Experience in equipment testing.
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic equipment and their functionality as well as problem solving action plan in line with manufacturer recommendations.
  • Maintenance resource coordination, planning and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment functionality and problem solving action plan in line with manufacturer recommendations.
Qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years in Managing Asset in a Multinational Environment.
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or Production Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
