Project Description
The Global Fund is a 21st-century partnership organization designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics. Founded in 2002, the Global Fund is a partnership between governments, civil society, the private sector and people affected by the diseases. The Global Fund raises and invests nearly US$4 billion a year to support programs run by local experts in countries and communities most in need. Since 2003, the Global Fund has invested more than 1.4 billion dollars in the fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria in Nigeria.

Job Description
  • Senior Technical Officer-Clinical Services under the supervision of the State Program Advisor and technical oversight from Senior Technical Advisor PCT, the Senior Technical Officer (Clinical Services) will provide technical and programmatic support to his/her counterparts within SACA, SASCP and Sub-Recipient (SRs) in implementing high quality treatment, care and support activities with primary focus on clinical management of HIV/AIDs, Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS, TB/HIV integration and integrated medical services at the state level.
  • The ideal candidate will be skilled in supporting the translation of standards of care into service delivery
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • MB.BS/MD/PhD or relevant additional training and a minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in ART, PMTCT. TB or HIV/AIDS care and support programming.
  • A sound understanding of HIV/AIDS and TBHIV technical areas
  • Demonstrated success delivering results by working indirectly with service providers on large scale HIV projects.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
