Job Title: Estate Manager
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Detailed valuation survey and inspection of properties, including measurement and recording of all types of properties and their state of maintenance
- Valuation of properties for acquisition and compensation purposes -
- Computation and preparation of valuation report
- Preparation of inventory of furniture, fixtures, fittings, plant and machinery
- Conducting regular market surveys on properties, compilation of the market data and maintenance of updated records of the market data
- Advertising, marketing and teasing of company properties for lease and rental purposes
- Conducting background checks on tenants, checking them in and out of the company properties Liaising with solicitors for tenancy agreements, title investigation and other necessary documentations
- Coordinating complaints from tenants and reporting same to management
- Running and maintenance of common services of company’s leases or rented properties
- Preparation of schedule of dilapidation
- Advising management on repairs, renovation, refurbishment and development of company’s properties for increased income to company
- Preparation of periodic reports on company’s properties and their presentation to management
Requirements
Skills:
- Good practical working knowledge of relevant computer software applications inclusive of Microsoft office packages etc
- Candidates should possess good negotiation skills
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with Second Class Upper Division (2.1) or its equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution in Estate Management or other related fields of study.
- Possession of a Masters degree or its equivalent will be an added advantage Registration with relevant professional bodies eg. ESVARBON, etc. will also be an added advantage
Experience:
- 10 years relevant cumulative post graduation experience in reputable organizations
