Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by an Oil & Gas Company to recruit a Mechanical Completion Coordinator for its operations in Nigeria.

Job description
The Mechanical Completion Coordinator will have the responsibility of coordinating mechanical completion (MC) activities within the work package between the Company’s sites, contractors, work packages, QC in manufacturing and QS representing suppliers He/she is to report to the Senior Construction Manager

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this office shall include but is not limited to the following:
  • The MC Coordinator is responsible for contract review as well as ensuring adherence to Project Handover requirements to TEPNG
  • Organisation of the ICAPS and OPERCOM software in the MC coordination office
  • Conducting of system review to align with hydro test
  • Review of Commissioning temporaries required and attribution of ITR’s for the temporary work
  • Provision of assistance in mechanical completion meetings to provide current information of systems to ensure MC dates are met
  • Coordination of site inspection of vendor packages and documentation and inclusion of punch list items and carrying over of work into ICAPS and OPERCOM
  • Liaison with Certification groups to establish and implement process controls for preparation of MC dossiers
  • Compilation of MC dossiers by LOT and system
  • Prompt establishment of process for preparation as built documentation i.e. red line mark ups and P&ID masters by construction
  • Conduct alongside the Construction Manager MC meetings with Construction Supt and Supv / material group/ engineering group/ certification group/ QAQC group ensuring MC’s are held according to plan
  • Production of weekly MC control documents to show hold points
  • Produce of skyline MC handovers and update weekly
  • Management of system access for all parties
  • Liaison with Marine Quantity Surveyor with Group structural engineer as well as establishing of allowance roll out

Qualifications and Experience
  • BEng in the Mechanical/Structural engineering,
  • Must have 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Must have ten to 15 years in the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Previous experience in Africa is a plus
  • Team leader
  • Communication skills
