Job Title: QC Dossier Delivery Coordinator

Reporting to: QA/QC Manager

Purpose/Role
  • To enable adequate control of document (qc reports) flow among all parties, ensure proper/accurate collation, preparation of inspection reports, tracking and monitoring of engineering fabrication and quality processes as they pertain to the completion of final QA/QC dossier for the project
Key aims and objectives:
  • Close monitoring/supervision of the final document phase of the project .
  • Timely compilation of dossiers for all the structures and the outfitting supports
  • Timely preparation of reports and technical information relating to qa/qc inspection within the project/ follow-up of clients with respect to sign-off of documentations
  • Process audit/review, correction, updating of technical data sheet and documentation punch list
Prime Responsibilities and Duties
  • Preparation and updating of various document delivery dates
  • Compilation and coordination of the qa/qc release dossiers
  • Supervision and follow-up of inspection release note sign-off
  • interfaces with qa/qc welding inspectors, dimension control unit, painting inspectors and data controllers on closeout of reports and other release documentations against the final dossier compilation
  • Review of release packs for both the structural and outfitting supports for all the Egina scope
  • Follow-up/ closeout of clients comments arising from review of final qc documentations
  • Creation, development, maintenance, update and analysis of inspection documentation data base.
  • Creating quality requests and reports on / for work progress and non-destructive test (NDT).
  • Monitoring and informing quality personnel on work progress, NDT requirement, and outstanding records emanating from the site activities.
  • Managing transmittals and transmission of quality reports to the client.
  • Together with the responsible QA Inspector, ensure minimal errors in report by carrying out error- checks on quality reports and weld history summary sheet
  • liaise with DCC to ensure all request coming from DCC with respect to final dossier compilation is handled as at when due
  • Scanning of all inspection reports and documents and proper management of same in the shared folder
  • Prepare/create release certificates for completed / released structures.
  • Assist with preparation of the as-built qc registers as pertains to welding
  • Periodic process audit/ review for effective and timely closeout of structural and outfitting dossiers
  • Preparation of QA procedures as need may arise in course of the job
Other Duties:
  • Internal quality audit and any other duties assigned by QA/QC manager
Key Interfaces:
  • Quality personnel, Document Controller, Data Controllers, Painting and DC team Clients
Job Requirements
The Person:
  • A first degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant Professional Certifications
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Ms-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Ms Outlook,) and Internet Explorer
  • Focus and result oriented person.
  • Experience of a fabrication yard environment.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering design and drawing.
  • QMS background, experience in QA engineering and ability to prepare and review technical Procedures
