Requirements
The candidate must have/satisfy these Qualifications/Experience requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (First Class or 2.1) or HND (Distinction or Upper Credit) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar engineering field. A Master’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science/ICT and a relevant professional qualification/membership is an added advantage;
- Seven (7) years' experience in a similar Oil and Gas role, with responsibility for complex engineering tasks;
- Demonstrate the capacity to handle:
- Data acquisition and instrumentation;
- Laboratory grade measurement and logging in drilling environments;
- Engineering design reviews using new analysis tools;
- Equipment trouble-shooting;
- Control systems analysis;
- Turnaround planning and execution;
- Technical training to share best practices;
- Equipment improvement initiatives;
- Design, installation, fabrication, and commissioning of offshore facilities;
- Root cause failure analysis;
- Safety Management Systems compliance;
- Maintaining plant MES servers (osl Pl data historian); and
- Collaborate with designers, developers and product owners to implement scalable and interactive applications.
