Project Summary
Diamond Development Initiatives (DDI) is recruiting in order to Implement the Feed the Future Nigeria Livelihoods Project (North-East expansion). The project which is based in rural communities in Bomo, Yobe and Adamawa States respectively will use a multi-sector approach to provide support to very poor households by growing their agricultural production and productivity through capacity building of producer groups, farming cooperatives and community based volunteers.
Requirements
- A degree in Crop Production, Agronomy or Agricultural Extension or other related fields.
- At least 3 years of direct involvement in community development work.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and have a high proficiency in the use of computer, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
- Ability to communicate in the local language/s will be an added advantage.
